A brand concept for NUMBER ONE®, a closed international mark of first place: clothing that cannot be bought, only awarded to verified world number ones — with a registry, NFC tags and an award protocol.
Overview
NUMBER ONE® is a concept for a closed international mark of first place. Its clothing is not sold: it is awarded only to people who have officially proven they became number one among the strongest in the world. Wealth, fame and connections do not create access — there is no price, no Buy button and no public store for the core collection.
The brief I set myself: design the brand so that owning the garment is itself evidence of a verified world-class victory. The “#” is not decoration; within the system it means one thing only — a verified win at world level.

Approach
An eligibility standard with four conditions, all mandatory: first place, world-class level, confirmation by a recognised authority, and proof the brand verifies itself from primary sources. The rule is binary — a nomination, a second place or a final is not enough.
An award protocol instead of a checkout: nomination, verification, approval, registration, delivery in person or at a ceremony, and verified status. Every recipient enters a permanent public registry, and an NFC tag in the garment opens an authentication profile that answers three questions: is the item authentic, who earned it, and which victory created the status.
The concept book also defines the award set — the garment, an owner number, an ID card, a certificate, a branded passport that must never imitate a state document, and a presentation case — plus governance principles and an exclusive partnership in which VITON13 runs creative direction, the verification platform, the registry and production.

Results
A concept book in twelve sections, from the brand definition to governance and an executive summary, and a campaign key visual built on the line “You can’t buy Number One. You have to become one.” (September 2026).
What this does not prove
A self-initiated brand concept, not a launched brand: this case claims no recipients, garments, registry entries or NFC tags in use, and the partnership with VITON13 is part of the concept.
The campaign visual is AI-generated. The registry card in the gallery is the concept book’s example record, not a real person, and the typographic panels were re-set from the concept book for this portfolio.
Planning something similar? I read every message myself.
