It started at bench thirteen

The first model was wrong most of the time. What made it useful was that it was wrong quickly — and that every mistake came back from the lab as data.

That idea became the company: pair a generative model with a lab that answers it every night, and let the two teach each other. The name kept the bench number. Today we are forty-two scientists and engineers in two sites — biology in Basel, AI in Lisbon — and the loop still runs every twenty-four hours.
