Please note. Vitaliano is a fictional restaurant and this site is a portfolio demonstration. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere: your bookings, pre-orders and account live only in your browser. To show the pages, your browser fetches fonts from Google Fonts, photos from Unsplash, video from Pexels, the map library from unpkg and map tiles from CARTO, so those services receive your IP address and browser details, as with any web request. The text below shows how such a policy reads for a real restaurant.
What we keep
- Booking details. Name, phone, email, date, time, table, number of guests and any note you leave.
- Pre-orders. The dishes you ask us to fire when you arrive.
- Preferences. Your favourite house and table, and allergies if you tell us about them.
Why
To hold your table, to call if something changes, to have the kitchen ready when you sit down and — only if you subscribe — to send a letter once a month.
How long
Booking details are kept for a year so that your next visit is easier. Pre-orders are deleted once the meal is paid. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.
Cookies
Essential
Your pre-order tray, your sign-in and your answer to the cookie banner. Without them the booking flow does not work.
Analytics and marketing
Not used on this site. A real restaurant would ask your permission first and let you say no.
